Who is Adam Cole?
Good question, and if you are here it is because you are curious to know the answer. Here’s a pretty quick summary
I was born in 1977 in Paris and when i was a teenager, after a first move, I had the incredible chance to start going out in a legendary club located in Dijon: l’An-Fer.
The famous club which has seen all the world’s greatest electronic music artists pass through: Laurent Garnier of course, Derrick May, Juan Atkins, Jeff Mills, Jérôme Pacman, John Acquaviva, Daft Punk, Oliver Bondzio, Kenny Larkin, Carl Cox , Manu le Malin, Charles Schillings, Eric Borgo, Vitalic, Jack de Marseille, Bob Sinclar, Sven Väth, Tonio and many others….
all these artists influenced me and shaped my desire to make music.Back in Paris, I created evenings with a group of friends (Thank you Will & CJ): House Friendly, then set up a first label: Nouveau Né Records. Mixed success but very nice experiences with great encounters.
As a result, I was able to mix in some very nice places in Paris : Péniche Concorde Atlantique, Gibus Club, Wagg, OPA, Wax Club, Technoparade, La Scene, La Maizon, Purpl’Ace…
During the French Touch epic I joined a famous label at the time: Bossley Records / Dirty Muzik on which I was able to release a booty track under the name Doc Kompress, Where I was also able to meet excellent artists like Play Paul, DJ Assault, Adek, Ken Russell, Leon Bardo, Fafa Monteco, Freddy and many others.
But during all these years, I continued to produce my music, always looking for a style without really succeeding,
To finally tell myself that I had my own style.The vagaries of life meant that I had to stop everything, but the desire to make music was still strong and after a few years, I decided to create a new label: Confidential Music Records. More great human and musical encounters.
Today the label has been on standby for several years but I continue to produce for pleasure, without real ambition, just to share my music. After all, that’s what music is for: sharing emotions and making people happy!
